Abstract

ABSTRACT Parking is a condition where the vehicle is in a stopped position or does not move for a while for the driver to leave. The increasing need for parking areas has also led to an increase and parking order is also requested to the maximum, namely through the Regional Regulation of Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2017 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation. In this study, the method used is observational research, with data collection techniques, namely questionnaires and interviews. This research is descriptive in nature, namely research that provides a detailed and clear description of the main research problems. The results of the discussion of this research. The result of this study is the control of parking attendants by the Regional Technical Implementing Unit (UPTD) for parking based on PERDA Number 3 of 2017 concerning Traffic and Road Transportation in the form of indirect persuasive control with the transportation department, in this case the parking UPTD providing guidance and direction to the parking coordinator so that the parking coordinator can develop a coordinated parking attendant. And the sanctions given to parking attendants who commit violations are in the form of a warning if the violation is minor and a warning if the violation has been committed more than once as well as direct action in the form of dismissal and revocation of KTA as a parking attendant.
