Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic has invaded almost all countries on this earth since late 2019. This pandemic began in Chinese, precisely in Hubei province, the city of Wuhan. Which is thought to have originated from a wet market that sells fish, marine animals and various ther animals. In Indonesian itself, this virus entered in march 2020 which is thought to have originated from Japanese citizen who visited family in West Java and after that it spread throught Indonesian. The Indonesian govermment has taken many steps to stop the spreadof the virus, starting large-scale social restrictions, lock down the red area and must always apply; wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands. When meeting with other people researchers made direct observations to the tradistional market or Tarai Bangun village, most of the people who were there do not masks, and after conducting interviews with several sources, researchers can conclude that people believe that masks can protect themselves and others from Covid-19. But with traditional market conditions that are hot, noisy and crowded, masks will interfere with their activities, so they choose not to wear masks when they are there.
