Abstract

Dumai City Community Perception of the Covid-19 Vaccine Program Kurniawan Dwi Hasdi 169110098 Public perception of the Covid-19 vaccine program is a response or acceptance of information obtained regarding confidence in the halalness of vaccines, willingness to be vaccinated and the capacity of health workers who provide COVID-19 vaccines. This is due to confusing information and news with various versions, such as the halalness and safety of the COVID-19 vaccine. The purpose of this study was to find out how the Dumai city community's perception of the Covid-19 vaccine program was. This research is a quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The population in this study amounted to 152,011 people, with a sample of 100 people. Data collection techniques are questionnaires, and literature studies. This study tested the validity and reliability using the guttman scale. The results show that most of them agree because the community considers the Covid-19 vaccine program to be a good program in controlling the spread of the Covid-19 Virus, this is evidenced by the acquisition of the perception index of the people of the city of Dumai towards the highest Covid-19 vaccine program with an average value of 94.92% and only 5.08% disagree. So it can be concluded that the perception of the people of the city of Dumai on the Covid-19 vaccine program as a whole is that most people have the perception that they agree with the existence of the Covid-19 vaccine program. This is supported by a response based on the statement items which as a whole are a statement of agreement with this program.
