Abstract

PERCEPTION OF TEACHERS AND STUDENTS TOWARDS THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE BIOLOGY LEARNING / E-LEARNING STUDENTS GRADE XI SMA NEGERI 4 PEKANBARU ACADEMIC YEAR 2020/2021 NURUL HASANAH S NPM. 166510871 Thesis of Biology Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Islamic University of Riau Advisor : Desti, M.Si ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the perception of teachers and students towards the implementation of online biology learning / e-learning classes of XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2020/2021. This research is descriptive quantitative research. This research method uses survey research method. Data conducted by using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The samples in this study were consisting of Biology teachers and a sample of 108 students of Grade XI sciences from SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru Academic Year 2020/2021. The questionnaire disseminated in the form of a teacher questionnaire consists of 35 statement items and a student questionnaire consists of 39 statement items with the same indicators, namely: learning approach, usefulness, relevance, interaction, effectiveness, learning assistance, learning comfort, learning process, class schedule, activities carried out, physical condition, psychologist's condition, internet network, multimedia equipment. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the average result of biology teacher perception towards the implementation of online biology learning/e-learning class XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru is quite good with a percentage of 63.64% and the average response of grade XI sciences students to the implementation of online biology learning/e-learning class XI SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru categorized quite good with a percentage of 66.28%.
