Abstract

Education is an effort made by a person or individual consciously to realize the learning process effectively with the aim of educating students in developing their talents and potential. The teaching and learning process that is most needed is encouragement or what is commonly called motivation. Encouragement or motivation is needed by a student in the learning process. The problem of this research is how is the influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes of Indonesian during the covid 19 pandemic for class XI students of SMA N 1 Tanah Putih? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and interpret the data in detail and systematically, so that a real picture can be obtained of the effect of learning motivation on Indonesian language learning outcomes for XI grade students of SMA N 1 Tanah Putih. The method used in this study is the correlational method. The sources of this research are the population and the sample. The approach used in this research is quantitative research. This type of research is included in the field research (Fiel Research). The results of data processing found in the study are: the results of data analysis of learning motivation on learning outcomes obtained r = 0.161, after obtaining df = 99, then the magnitude of r‖ is listed in the table r‖ product moment at a significant level of 0.05 = 0.195. The relationship contained in this study is a less positive relationship. So in this case learning motivation does not really play a role in student learning activities that affect learning outcomes.
