Abstract

DEARDO PARULIAN (2021): The contribution of agility and speed to the football dribbling ability of UIR Pekanbaru Football Association players. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of agility and speed to the football dribbling ability of the UIR Football Association Player. This type of research is correlational research. The population in this study were 20 football players. The sampling technique was total sampling, thus the number of samples was 20 people. The instruments used were the 30 meter sprint test, the dogging run test and the soccer dribble test. The data analysis technique is product moment correlation and multiple correlation. The conclusions of this study are: 1) There is a contribution of speed with dribbling ability in the football game of the Pekanbaru UIR Football Association Player of 22.7%. 2) There is a contribution of agility with dribbling ability in the football game of the Pekanbaru UIR Football Association Player of 37.6%. 3) There is a contribution of speed and agility to the dribble ability in the football game of the Pekanbaru UIR Football Association Player of 42.4%.
