Abstract

This research was conducted from August to October 2021 at Balai Seed Fish (BBI) Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau. The purpose of this research The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving different types of annelids on survival and growth of snakehead fish (Channa striata) and to find out which types of annelids are good for survival and growth of snakehead fish (Channa striata) fry. Materials used in In this study, the seeds of snakehead fish (Channa striata), silk worms (Tubifex sp.) earthworm (Lumbricus rubellus), milk worm (Perionx sp.) and nipah worm (Namalycastis rhodochorde). The method used is the Design method Completely Randomized (CRD) with 5 treatments and 3 replications, namely P0 (Pellet PF1000), P1 (silk worm), P2 (earth worm), P3 (milk worm) and P4 ( nipah). The results showed that the survival rate of this study was 100% in each treatment, the best treatment is in the P2 . treatment by feeding using earthworms (Lumbricus rubellus) which can produce growth in absolute weight of snakehead fish seed 10.33 g, the absolute length growth of snakehead fish seed is 2.43 cm, daily growth rate by 12.32% and feed conversion of 1.12.
