Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the functions of the Airport Organizing Unit (UPBU) in the maintenance of Japura Airport Facilities, Lyric District, Indragiri Hulu Regency and whether the airport administration unit (UPBU) office carried out airport facility maintenance whether it was implemented or not. The main purpose of the discussion is how to implement the functions of the Japura Airport Organizing Unit (UPBU) Office, Lyric District, Indragiri Hulu Regency (Airport Facility Maintenance Study). Currently, the Japura airport is needed, so that it can be reactivated, to provide services on flights, especially for the large increase in passengers and aircraft traffic as well as supporting other factors. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative method, with the most dominant number of respondents being male. The results of this study are where the airport finds obstacles in the form of human resources and financial resources, where the assessment item relates to indicators of economic conditions that hinder regional development, as well as delays in maintenance activities due to insufficient human resources. because of the lack of budget received by the government for the airport.
