Abstract
Compensation provides employee satisfaction with the fulfillment of basic employee needs. Kompensasi diberikan dalam bentuk gaji, jabatan dan bonus. Compensation of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei Berlian, Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, starting with an increase in salary, position and giving annual bonuses so that employees are motivated to work optimally. Application of compensation for PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei Berlian, Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency has not been carried out well, especially for non-employees so that the achievement of employee performance targets is not achieved. This study aims to determine the effect of compensation on employee performance at PT. Nusantara V Sei Berlian Plantation, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The method used is quantitative by using a descriptive survey, which is a type of research that describes the variables under study. This study was determined by 50 respondents and 3 informants. The technique of collecting observation data, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation with descriptive data analysis through a quantitative approach. From the research results it is known that the compensation provided by PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei Berlian, Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, has not been felt by employees where there has been no equal distribution of salary increases, positions and bonuses, especially for non-employees so that it affects employee work performance. This study concludes that based on the results of statistical tests it can be concluded that the compensation variable has a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei Berlian Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency with good results because compensation greatly affects employee performance so that employees are motivated and enthusiastic at work. The author suggests that PT. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei Berlian, Tapung Subdistrict, Kampar Regency, should provide equal distribution of compensation ranging from salary increases, positions and work allowances for each employee, especially non-employees so that they are motivated and eager to work, and make appointments for non- employees. -the employees. -Workers to become permanent employees.
