Abstract

PRODUCT INNOVATION ANALYSIS ON ROTTE BAKERY BUSINESS IN UMBAN SARI KECAMATAN RUMBAI KOTA PEKANBARU ABSTRACT M. ILHAM This study aims to analyze product innovation is a form of improving product quality in terms of raw materials, physical form, or the ability of previous goods that have been marketed by rotte bakery products in Umban Sari, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. The research located in Rumbai is a descriptive survey with quantitative. The results of the research on Product Innovation Analysis in the Umban Sari Branch of the Rotte Bakery Business Pekanbaru City seen from the three indicators of Product Quality, Product Variants, Product Design are said to be "pretty good". This is because the durability of rotte bakery products has its own resistance limit, then product variants of various kinds of bread flavors from its soft shape and product cleanliness are maintained so as to increase selling value, then product design is a stage in creating and developing concepts and specifications of product value and appearance. to meet customer needs, this is because what is done by rotte bakery has been done properly. The conclusion of the results of this study according to the recap of the respondents' answers is quite good, Suggestions to be further improved in order to add flavor variants so that consumers do not experience boredom in buying bread.
