Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze and determine the effect of working capital efficiency, liquidity, and leverage on the profitability of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The variables studied include working capital efficiency (WCT), liquidity (CR), leverage (DER) as the independent variable and profitability (ROA) as the dependent variable. The object of this research is the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The samples studied were 8 companies by purposive sampling. Data obtained through secondary data from the IDX and analyzed using multiple regression. The results of the regression analysis show that simultaneously working capital efficiency, liquidity and leverage have an effect on profitability in pharmaceutical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. While partially working capital efficiency has a positive and significant effect on profitability, but liquidity and leverage have no significant effect on profitability partially.
