Abstract

The inventory system is an activity application in the data processing of goods contained in a storage room. An agency that does not have an inventory system will experience a few problems in processing goods data. For example, in engineering architecture, Islamic universities are currently running a manual inventory data recording system. Because inventory is so important for agencies, the existence of an inventory system based on information technology is needed for recording and processing transactions compared to the manual method. The stages are System Analysis and Design, software requirements analysis, system design, coding, testing and system maintenance. This application is built using the PHP programming language, and MySQL DataBase. In addition to the input and output process of goods, this information system is also equipped with features for printing data reports, input and output of goods, and searching for goods data by name of goods. With the inventory information system This program at the Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University of Riau can make it easier for Administrative staff to process goods data, simplify and shorten the time of the Study Program to make requests for goods and make it easier for the Dean to monitor the supply of goods.
