Abstract

This article is the result of research evaluating the successful implementation of the basic accounting principles according to SAK ETAP. Located in the District of Tapung Hilir Kapar Regency, research with descriptive methods based on collecting data, then grouped and arranged so that it can be researched based on relevant theories related to the issues discussed aims to find out knowing the application of accounting carried out has been applied effectively. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with employees and management who are related to this research. The results of this study indicate that cooperatives are still not in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This research is important for academics to understand the knowledge regarding the application of accounting principles, valuation and presentation of village unit cooperative financial statements. For KUD Cinta Damai, it is expected to be able to contribute ideas to be taken into consideration in efforts to improve and improve the application of village unit cooperative accounting.
