Abstract
This study aims to look at the effect of Qana'ah on Consumptive Behavior in Riau Islamic University Students. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an influence between Qana'ah on Consumptive Behavior in Riau Islamic University Students. The population in this study were all students of Riau Islamic University with 27,657 students. The sample in the study was determined using the Isacc and Michael tables and the error rate used 5%, 344 students of the Riau Islamic University. The data analysis technique used is in this study a simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that there was an influence between qana'ah on consumptive behavior in the students of Riau Islamic University, the significance result was 0.000 (Sig. ≤ 0.05), F value was 1.360 while Beta value was -0.475). Based on these results the hypothesis in this study was accepted.
