Abstract
This research was conducted in North Tambusai District Rokan Hulu Regency. In connection with this research, the object is the Poultry Shop Business. The problem in this study is whether the accounting application used by the poultry shop business is in accordance with the basic concepts of generally accepted accounting in running the bird shop business. The purpose of this study was to determine the accounting application carried out by a poultry shop business in North Tambusai District with the basic concepts of accounting. The data collected is primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is in the form of interviews and observations. While data analysis using descriptive method. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the poultry shop business in North Tambusai District Rokan Hulu Regency is not in accordance with the basic accounting concepts currently in force.
