Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction and main effects of chicken egg and legin eggshell powder on the growth and production of mung beans. The design used is a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial consisting of 2 factors, namely C (Chicken Eggshell) with 4 levels of treatment namely 0, 20, 30, 40 g / plant and factor L (Legin Inoculation) with 4 levels of treatment namely 0, 5, 10, 15 g / kg of seeds, so we get 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment carried out 3 replications. The parameters observed were plant height, age of flowering, relative growth rate, net assimilation rate, number of active root nodules, dry seed weight of planting and number of inactive root nodules. The observations were analyzed statistically and continued with a real honest difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of chicken egg powder and legin gave a significant influence on the parameters of plant height, relative growth rate, number of active root nodules and dry seed weight of the crop where the best treatment was produced by treatment of chicken eggshell powder 40 g / plant and legin 15 g / kg of seeds (C3L3). The main effect of giving chicken eggshell powder gives a real influence on all parameters with the best dosage of chicken eggshell powder as much as 40 g / plant (C3). The main effect of legin administration gives a real effect on all parameters with the best dose of legin administration as much as 15 g / kg of seed (L3).
