Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main influence of NPK Grower fertilizer and the concentration of superior plant hormones on eggplant production. This research has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kharuddin Nasution Km 11, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. Implementation The research was carried out for four months from June 2019 to September 2019. The design used in this study was a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is the NPK Grower dose consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 5, 10, 15 grams / plant. the second factor is the concentration of superior plant hormones consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 2, 4, 6 ml / L water. The parameters observed were flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, weight of fresh fruit per plant, number of remaining fruit per plant. Data were analyzed statistically and continued with BNJ level of 5%. The results of the study concluded that: Interaction of NPK Grower fertilizer treatment and superior plant hormone concentration significantly affected flower age, harvest age, fruit weight per plant. The best treatment is a NPK Grower dose of 15 g / plant and a superior plant hormone concentration of 6 ml / l water. The main effect of NPK Grower fertilizer has a significant effect on all parameters observed. The best treatment dose of NPK Grower 15 g / plant. The main effect of superior plant hormone concentration significantly affects all parameters of the observation. The best treatment of superior plant hormone concentration is 6 ml / l water.
