Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools in the form of Lesson Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) using the Snowball Throwings model on flat-sided building materials in class VIII SMP which have been tested for validity. This research on the development of mathematics learning tools uses the R&D model. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only 5 stages were carried out, namely 1) potential & problems, 2) data collection, 3) product design, 4) design validation, and 5) design revision. The data collection instruments used were the RPP validation sheet and the LKPD validation sheet. The data collection technique used was a non-test using a validation sheet from 2 mathematics education lecturers at FKIP UIR and 2 mathematics teachers at SMPN 34 Pekanbaru. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the RPP validation were 81,25% with a quite valid validation level and the results of the LKPD analysis were 86,87% with a very valid validation level. Based on this research, it was found that the learning device of mathematics using the Snowball Throwings model on the material of building flat side spaces in class VIII of SMP Negeri Pekanbaru which has been tested for validity.
