Abstract
This study aims to determine the communication experience of the Minas sub-district community in using the Minas Now Citizen Info Facebook Group. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study that tries to understand the meaning of events and their relationship with people who are in the same situation. The results showed that the reasons for the Minas Sub-district community to use the Minas Now Community Info Facebook Group were based on basic needs, namely the need for information, and the time allocation that was often used by the Minas Sub-district community varied, while the Minas Sub-district community's communication experience in using the Minas Now Citizen Info Facebook Group consists of four categories (1) Has a positive impact on their personality (2) Few negative comments and is considered to have come from bad hands (3) It's not fun because it's been insulted in a post (4) It's fun because the merchandise posted is selling well.
