Abstract

PKH ( Hope Family Program) is one of the conditional social assistance provided to poor and vulnerable families registered in the Social Welfare Integrated Data (DTKS) and designated as PKH beneficiary families (KPM). PKH (Program Keluarga Harapan) is one of the government's efforts in accelerating poverty alleviation. This study aims to determine the subjective well-being of the recipients of PKH (Hope Family Program) assistance in the district of Pendalian IV Koto. This study uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach . Collecting data in this study using observation and in-depth interviews. The data analysis method used in this research is the Miles and Huberman model analysis method . The research subjects are two housewives who receive PKH assistance who live in the district. The control of IV Koto used was based on a purposive sampling procedure . The results of the research showed that the two subjects still wanted to become members of PKH until the components still needed them. In addition, the first subject had a perceived burden of being a member of PKH . Furthermore, there are several PKH members who abuse the assistance provided by PKH.
