Abstract

The waste bank has a function to manage waste in the environment which aims to make the environment clean and healthy,but not only that but to be able to provede additional economic benefits for the community, although not as a whole, but at least it can reduce the amount of waste piles that are getting worse and worse.More and more. There is also a problem in this thesis, namely the difficulty of marketing the recycled waste by the Mukti Jaya Village Gevernment, Rimba Melintang District, Rokan Hilir Regency. Thw type of research in writing this thesis is a qualitative research method, namely research that makes a human person a respondent which is a adjusted to the situation in the field, this research procedur produce descriptive data which is in the form of written or spoken words from the person of interest which this writing consists of primary data, namely research in the from of interviews, documentation along with observations, secondary data obtained by indterviewing research results,namely Waste Bank Management by the Village Governmen Head of Waste Bank Units, Waste Bank Customers and also Public. The conclusion is that due to the lack of intervention from other parties in the management of the waste bak, it is difficult to marke the recycled waste products, it can be seen from the results of interviews with the village head that the Environmental Service of Rokan Hilir Regency deos not contribute to be the management of the waste bank
