Abstract

Anggy Moratua Panjaitan (154110210) research entitled The Effect of Bokashi Tofu and NPK 16:16:16 on the Growth of Oil Palm Seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) In the Main Nursery (Main Nursery). The research has been carried out in Palm Oil Nurseries, Jl Lintas Timur KM 12, Hamlet 1, Baru Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, Riau from March - September 2019. The purpose of this study is to determine the interaction and main effects of bokashi tofu waste and NPK 16 fertilizer: 16:16 to the growth of oil palm seedlings in the main nurseries. The design used in the study was a Factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor of bokashi pulp tofu dosage consists of 4 levels, namely: 0 g / polybag, 112.5 g / polybag, 225 g / polybag, 337.5 g / polybag. The second factor, NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 consists of 4 levels, i.e.0 g / polybag, 85 g / polybag, 110 g / polybag, 135 g / polybag. So obtained 16 treatment combinations, each treatment consisted of 3 replications. The parameters observed were increase in plant height, increase in stem diameter, increase in number of leaf midribs, age of broken leaves, longest root length, seed dry weight, and root volume. The observations were analyzed statistically and if there were differences followed by a real honest difference test (BNJ) at the 5% level. This study shows that the interaction of bokashi tofu waste and NPK 16:16:16 significantly affected the increase in stem diameter, age of broken leaves, longest root length, and root volume. The best combination of treatments is the dosage of bokashi tofu waste 337.5 g / polybag and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 110 g / polybag. The main influence of tofu bokashi pulp and NPK 16:16:16 was evident on all observational parameters. With the best treatment the dosage of bokashi tofu dregs 337.5 g / polybag and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 135 g / polybag.
