Abstract
Miswandi (154110205), a study entitled "The Effect of Fertilizer and NPK Fertilizers 16:16:16 on Growth and Yield of Cabbage (Brassica oleraceae var. Botrytis L.)" under the guidance of Dr. Ir. H. T. Edy Sabli, M.Sc as a supervisor. This research has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Air Cool Subdistrict, Bukit Raya Subdistrict, Pekanbaru City, for 4 months, starting from August to November 2019. The purpose of the study was to determine the interaction and main effects of giving chicken coop and fertilizer NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 Against growth and yield of cabbage plants (Brassica oleraceae var. botrytis L). This research uses a completely randomized factorial design consisting of 2 factors. The first factor of Chicken Cage fertilizer (A) consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 200, 400, 600 gr / polybag. The second factor is NPK 16:16:16 (N) consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 3, 4.5, 6, gr / polybag. So as to get 16 treatment combinations, each treatment consisted of 3 replications, so that a total of 48 experimental units. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering, age of harvest, weight of flower heads along with leaves and weight of leafless flower heads. The observations were analyzed statistically and continued with a 5% real honest difference test (BNJ). The results showed that interaction with the administration of Chicken Coop and NPK 16:16:16 significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, age of flowering and the yield of the crop production, with the best treatment of giving 600g / polybag Chicken Coop fertilizer and NPK 16 : 16: 16 with a dose of 4.5 gr / polybag. The main effect of giving chicken manure significantly affect all parameters of observation, the best treatment with a dose of 600 gr / polybag. And the main effect of giving 16:16:16 NPK significantly affected all parameters of observation, the best treatment is at a dose of 4.5 gr / polybag.
