Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interactions and the main application of mycorrhizae and organic NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of purple eggplant. This research was carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharuddin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan Station, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for 4 months from May to August 2019. This research uses a completely randomized factorial design 4 x 4 consisting of 2 factors, the first factor is the administration of mycorrhizae (M) with 4 levels namely 0, 5, 10, 15 g / plant and the second factor is the provision of organic NPK fertilizer (N) with 4 levels namely 0, 25, 50, 75 g / plot, so that obtained 16 treatment combinations. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications to obtain 48 experimental units (plots). Each experimental unit (plot) consisted of 4 plants and 2 plants used as samples, so that the whole plant numbered 192 plants. The parameters observed were plant height, age of flowering, age of harvest, number of fruits per plant, weight of fruit per plant, weight of fruit per fruit and number of remaining fruit. If the F count is greater than the F table, it is followed by a further BNJ test at the 5% level. From the research it has been concluded that: The interaction of the application of mycorrhizal and Oragnik NPK significantly affects the number of fruits and fruit weight per plant. The best treatment of mycorrhizal 15 g / plant and NPK Organic 75 g / plot (M3N3). The main influence of the application of mycorrhizae is apparent on all observational parameters. The best treatment application is Mycorrhizal 15g / plant (M3). The main effect of the application of NPK Organic is evident on all parameters observed. With the best treatment the application of NPK Organic 75 g / plot (N3).
