Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main types of Mulch and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) of NASA on Flower Cabbage Plants. This research has been carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jl Kaharuddin Nasution KM 10, Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. For four months from January to April 2019. The research design used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (RAL) consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was the type of Mulch (M) consisting of 4 levels, namely: no mulch, sawdust, litter, MPHP and the second factor is Liquid Organic Fertilizer (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 2, 4, 6 cc / l water. The parameters observed were the number of leaves, the age at which the flowers appeared, the age at which the cabbage was harvested, the weight of the flowers and their leaves, the economic weight of the flower cabbage, flower wrap, and weed inventory. Observational data were analyzed statistically and continued with BNJ further tests at the 5% level. From the results of the study showed that the interaction and the main influence of the type of Mulch and Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) of NASA on the cabbage plant flowers on all parameters on all parameters observed. The best interaction treatment is a combination of Saw Blades Mulch and POC NASA Concentration of 6 cc / l water (M1P3). The best mulch treatment was sawdust mulch (M1) and NASA POC concentration was 6 cc / l water (P3).
