Abstract

The study was conducted in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jl. Kaharudin Nasution KM 11, No. 113 Marpoyan, Kelurahan Simpang Tiga, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. The study was conducted for 5 months, from August to December 2019. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the main interactions and wastewater of palm oil and NPK Mg Fertilizers (12: 12: 17: 2) on the Growth of Oil Palm Seedlings (Elaeis guineensis Jacq) on Main- Nursery. The experimental design used was a Factorial Complete Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, the first factor was Palm Oil Liquid Waste consisting of four levels, namely (L): 0: 0.75: 1.50 and 2.25 liters planting and the second factor is NPK Fertilizer Mg (12: 12: 17: 2) which consists of four levels, namely (N): 0: 15: 30 and 45 grams of crop, so that 16 treatment combinations are obtained. Each treatment combination consisted of 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units (plots). The parameters observed were the increase in plant height, increase in the number of leaves, increase in the length of the midrib length, increase in the length of the stem, root volume and root length. Data were analyzed statistically and continued at 5% BNJ level. The results showed the interaction of palm oil liquid waste and NPK Mg (12: 12: 17: 2) had a significant effect on all parameters. The best combination of treatments is 1.50 liters of palm oil liquid waste per hectare and NPK Mg (12: 12: 17: 2) with a dose of 30 grams per crop (L2N2). The main effect of palm oil liquid waste is evident on all observed parameters. The best treatment of palm oil liquid waste 1.50 liters per crop. The main effect of NPK Mg fertilizer (12: 12: 17: 2) was apparent on all observed parameters. The best treatment of NPK Mg dose (12: 12: 17: 2) 30 grams of crop.
