Abstract

This research was conducted during the 5 months June-October 2019. This study aims to determine the effect of acacia waste compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer on the growth and yield of tomato plants. The type of design used by researchers is a factorial completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor is Acacia Waste Compost with a dose of 0, 30, 60, 90 (gr / plant) and the second factor is NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 with a dose of 0, 10, 20, 30 90 (gr / plant) consisting of 4 level, so there are 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications. The parameters observed by researchers were plant height, age at flowering, fruit harvesting age, number of planted fruit, planted fruit weight, fruit weight per fruit, and the number of remaining fruit. The results showed the influence of the interaction of acacia waste compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizers which significantly affected the parameters of the number of planted fruit, crop fruit weight, and the number of remaining fruit, with the best treatment combination that was a combination of acacia waste compost 90 g / plant and NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 30 g / plant. The main effect of acacia waste compost has a significant effect on all parameters, with the best treatment being acacia waste 90 g / plant. Obtained from the results of the study that 16:16:16 NPK fertilizer has an influence on all parameters studied.
