Abstract

ABSTRACT . Factors Affecting Household Consumption in Siak Regency, Riau Province under the guidance of Mrs. Dr. Elinur, SP., M.Si Household expenditure in this study includes all consumption expenditures. This study aims to analyze (1) to analyze the development of variables that affect household expenditure in Siak Regency (2) to analyze the factors that influence household consumption expenditure in Siak Regency. This study uses a literature study that is analyzing data from related agencies. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data. The data used in this study is secondary data. The data were analyzed using the calculation of the growth rate and multiple linear regression. The results of the study illustrate that (1) income fluctuates increasing, while inflation and interest rates tend to fluctuate downward. (2) The factors that influence household consumption in Siak Regency are income, inflation and interest rates. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that income, inflation and interest rates are significant to household spending in Siak Regency.
