Abstract

This research was carried out in the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution KM 11 No. 113 Marpoyan Kelurahan Air Dingin, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru. This research was conducted for one month, starting from September to October 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of interaction and the main effect of the treatment of leaf extract sources of ketapang leaves and various concentrations of sungsang fig weeds. This experiment uses a factorial completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is the source of ketapang leaves consisting of 3 levels, while the second factor is the concentration each of which consists of 3 levels. So that obtained 9 treatment combinations. Each treatment combination consisted of 4 replications so there were 36 experimental units, each experiment unit contained 4 plants and 2 plants were sampled randomly taken so that 144 plants were obtained. Based on the results of research that has been carried out concluded as follows: The interaction of giving real ketapang leaf extract to all observations parameters, with the best treatment of fresh ketapang leaf extract and 100% concentration. The main effect of the real source of extract on all parameters observed, with the best treatment of fresh ketapang leaf extract. The main effect of ketapang leaf extract concentration was apparent on all parameters observed, with the best treatment concentration of 100%.
