Abstract
Rumbai District is the largest producer of broiler chickens in the City Pekanbaru, with the largest total population of 2,942,400 individuals. Besides that, broier chicken breeders in Rumbai District are very benefited because easy access and close to the city of Pekanbaru. The aim of this study to analyze DOC Price Growth, Feed and Broiler Chicken Prices, Broiler Chicken Cultivation, Use of Production Factors, Costs, Production, Broiler Chicken Revenue and Income and Factors in Chicken Production Broiler in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City This research uses survey method. The analysis used is descriptive and statistical analysis Coov-Douglas analysis. Simple random sampling technique (Simple Random Sampling) of existing broiler breeders in Rumbai District, as many as 40 farmers. The results showed DOC price growth of 8.73%, feed by 2.78% and chicken prices by 4.54%. Broiler chicken farming in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City almost completely in accordance with the theory put forward by researchers. The use of production factors per production period is 617 m2 cage area, DOC 5,855 animals, 14,090 kg of feed, drugs and vitamins 10.18 liters and labor 30.42 HKP. The average use of fixed costs is Rp 5,648,290.42 per period production, variable costs amounted to Rp 145,944,428.79 per production period with the average total production cost is Rp. 151,241,573.37 per production period. Broiler production is 5,562.25 per production period. Receipts Rp 154,352,437.50 per production period and Rp 3,110,864.13 per production period. Dominant factors that influence significant (α = 5%) of broiler production in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City is DOC, medicine and vitamins, feed and labor.
