Abstract
This research is backed by the results of a low mathematics learning due to lack of activity and interaction between students in mathematics learning. The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of mathematics learning results by using cooperative learning Model NHT and TPS are reviewed from the emotional intelligence of class VII MTs N 1 Rokan Hulu. The form of research is the research of pseudo experiments (Quasi experiment) with the design of Intact Group Comparison. The experimental-1 class was given treatment using the NHT type Cooperative learning model, the experimental-2 class which uses cooperative learning of TPS type. The technique of data collection on this research is done by the scale techniques of emotional intelligence and learning outcomes. The emotional intelligence scale will be analyzed with a descriptive analysis with a maximum value of 100 and a minimum value of 25. Student learning outcomes After given treatment will be analyzed with descriptive and inferential analysis. Data on the results showed that there was no difference between the mathematical outcomes of experimental-1 graders and experimental-2 students. It is visible from the calculation of Two Way Anova. From the results of the study can be concluded that there are no differences in mathematics learning results using the Cooperative learning Model NHT and TPS reviewed from the emotional intelligence of class VII MTs N 1 Rokan Hulu.
