Abstract

The purpose of the research carried out was to find out the level of interest of X IPS students in physical education learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 3 Mandau. This type of research is descriptive which aims to provide a systematic description of the ongoing situation in the object of research, namely about the level of interest of X IPS students in physical education learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 3 Mandau. The population in this study were students of class X IPS 1, amounting to 36 people. Determination of the sample in this study was carried out by total sampling, namely a sampling technique where all members of the population were all sampled. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing 40 statements that did not make it difficult for the respondents. After the questionnaire was made, it was first validated by 3 validators, namely the language validator, the psychological validator, and the physical education validator. After being validated by 3 validators, a school instrument was tested which had the same characteristics as the research sample, namely SMAN 9 MANDAU. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the level of interest of X IPS students in physical education learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 3 Mandau was relatively high with an average value of 73.97% which was in the percentage range between 61-80%. it means that the overall level of interest of X IPS students in physical education learning during the covid-19 pandemic at SMAN 3 Mandau already has a good interest.
