Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the implementation of job mutations on the performance of employees in the upstream Indragiri social service and to determine the inhibiting factors. The indicators in this study are work performance, work performance, work assessment or work results and work performance. This type of research located in Indragiri Hulu Regency is a qualitative descriptive study, which is the source of data derived from direct interviews with informants and observations in the field. Key informants and informants in this research are the Head of Social Service, Head of sub-program and financial sub-division, Head of Subdivision, Head of Division, Social Service Officers and the Community. Types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data which is collected through research tools in the form interview, observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the impact of the implementation of job mutations on employee performance in the upstream Indragiri social service can be said to be quite good. Barriers from the Indragiri Hulu Regency Social Service in Implementing Job Movements for Employee Performance are due to employee needs that are in line with official competencies, lack of official education qualifications, and placement of officials who do not fit their positions.
