Abstract
This study aims to compare the returns and risks of invsesting in gold and stocks. Investors need to analyze a level return and level of risk investment to be made. The data used is historical data on stock prices and gold prices. This research period was conducted during the Covid-19 period. Data analysis used t-test (independent sample t-test). The results of this study can prove that investing in gold is more profitable than investing in stocks, because the returns on gold are much higher than stocks and the risk faced is higher than the risk of gold.
