Abstract

The Influence of Cooperative Learning Model with Giving Question and Getting Answer (GQGA) Strategy toward Students Learning Motivation of Mathematics at the First Year Students of Vocational High School (SMK) Hasanah Pekanbaru. ABSTRACT This research aim to determine the influence of cooperative learning Model with Giving Question and Getting Answer (GQGA) strategy toward students learning motivation of Mathematics at the first year students of Vocational High School (SMK) Hasanah Pekanbaru in academic year of 2019/2020. This research was conducted on August, 13 2019 to September, 12 2019. The type of this experimental was Quasi Eksperimental with design of the research named Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK Hasanah Pekanbaru, while the sample in this study was class X Multi Media and X Accountant, totaling 38 students. There were the first year students of Multi Media as experimental class while another class was the first year students of Accountant as control class. Instruments to collecting students' learning motivation data through questionnaire sheets and observation sheets. To get the data’s research use technique of collection data that questionnaire and observation . The learnny motivation data analyzing use descriptive and inferential analysis. The inferential analysis counting by Mann Whitney U Test. Based on the result of Mann Whitney U Test calculation obtained that was − 2,00 and was 1,96. It can be seen that z was lower than , so it can be concluded that there is an influence of cooperative learning model with Giving Question and Getting Answer strategy toward students learning motivation of mathematics at the first year students of vacational High School Hasanah Pekanbaru.
