Abstract
research to determine the effect of the interaction of household waste and Sodium on the growth of Hydrilla verticillata. The design used in the study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of of two factors. The first factor is household waste (L) which consists of of 4 levels, namely: 0, 50, 75 and 100%. The second factor is Sodium (N) which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 500, 1000 and 1500 ppm. 16 combinations obtained treatment, repeated 3 times there are 48 experimental units, each experimental unit consisted of 6 plants and were used as sample plants so that the number of plants as many as 288 plants. Observation parameters were: age of shoot emergence, rate of relative growth, number of branches, number of leaves and number of shoots. When F count is greater than F table then proceed with further test of honest real difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the results of the study concluded as follows: Interaction of giving household waste concentration and sodium dose is real of all observation parameters, where the best treatment concentration of 75 % of household waste and concentration of 500 ppm Sodium (L2N1). Influence the main concentration of real household effluent against all parameters observation, where the best treatment is the concentration of 75% household waste (L2). The main effect of real sodium on all observation parameters, where the best treatment is the concentration of 500 ppm Sodium (N1).
