Abstract

ABSTRACT This research was conducted in the District of Rambah, the object of which is the owner of a laundry business in the District of Rambah, Rokan Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine the suitability of the implementation of accounting in the laundry business in Rambah District with the accounting concept. The research method used is a qualitative method. The types and sources of data are primary data and secondary data. Collecting data using interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive method. The results of this study indicate that the basis of recording used by the laudry business owner in Rambah District, Rokan Hulu Regency is on a cash basis because the recording is carried out after the receipt and disbursement of cash. In principle, the business owner has not fully implemented the business entity. Business owners also have not all carried out the concept of business continuity. The profit and loss calculation has been applied once a week. Meanwhile, for the business comparison, the laundry business owner has not implemented it properly.
