Abstract
ABSTRACT Fadly Abdi Rizal (154110429), This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Km 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. The research was carried out from May to August 2020. The aim of the study was to determine the main interaction effect of Trichoderma sp and organic NPK fertilizer on the growth and production of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L.). The design used was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was Trichoderma sp. It consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely without treatment, 2.5, 5 and 7.5 grams/plant. While the second factor was organic NPK fertilizer consisting of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 7.5, 15 and 22.5 grams/plant and 16 treatment combinations with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental plots. Where each experimental unit consisted of 4 plants, 2 plants as samples, so that a total of 192 plants were obtained. Parameters observed were plant height, age of flowering, age of harvest, number of fruit planted, weight of fruit planted, weight of fruit per fruit and number of remaining fruit from planting. The data were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA), and presented in tabular form. If the calculated F is greater than the F table, then a further BNJ test is carried out at the 5% level. "From the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: The interaction of Trichoderma sp and organic NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on the parameters of plant height, flowering age, harvest age, number of fruits per plant, fruit weight per plant, fruit weight per fruit and number of remaining fruits per plant. the best treatment plants were Trichoderma sp with a dose of 7.5 grams/plant and organic NPK fertilizer at a dose of 15 grams/plant. The main effect of Trichoderma sp was significant on all observation parameters, the best treatment for Trichoderma sp was 7.5 grams/plant. The main effect of organic NPK fertilizer was real on all observation parameters, the best treatment of organic NPK was 15 grams/plant.
