Abstract
The purpose of this study was to find out about the value of local wisdom of calempong oguong music in Ranah Village, Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The theory of local wisdom values used is the theory of Mungmachon (2012:174) which says that local wisdom is all forms of values, norms, ethics, beliefs, customs. The method used in this research is descriptive, the subjects in this study are: T. Nazir (traditional figure), Yarneli (artist), Kamaruddin (community figure), Doni Irfando (music player), Zulfikar (artist), H. Yurnalis (religious figure). The results of this study are the value of local wisdom of calempong oguong music can be seen from the norm value, which is the norm value in calempong oguong music seen from the song, namely the song Lailahaillah, the ethical value of the calempong oguong music player is seen from the attitude of the seated player, the value of musical trust Calempong oguong is seen from the beliefs of the people that should not be stepped over, the value of customs is seen from the basiacuong tradition.
