Abstract
This study aims to determine the use of learning media during the covid-19 pandemic at SDN 193 Pekanbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques and instruments are observation, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation, technique triangulation and time triangulation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusions or verification. The conclusion of this study is that the use of learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic has utilized visual, audio and audio visual learning media. Then for the steps for utilizing visual, audio and audio visual media the teacher has used the appropriate steps, namely looking at the lesson plans first. The obstacles in using learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic are the lack of time, the same methods and unsupported school facilities, namely the lack of learning media. The solution to overcome obstacles in the use of learning media during the COVID-19 pandemic to save time, teachers must make videos of short duration so that teachers can also explain learning materials, then for the use of methods teachers must use varied methods or attend trainings such as IT training in order to increase insight into the use of learning media. And regarding the making of learning media and the funds in making it, it is adjusted to the ability of the teacher and does not need to be forced with large funds.
