Abstract

This study aims to determine the perceptions of teachers and parents of students on limited face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic at SD Negeri 10 Tumang, Siak District. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques and instruments are observation, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using source triangulation and time triangulation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher's perception of limited face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic is that limited face-to-face learning that is applied during the COVID-19 pandemic is very good to be applied during the COVID-19 pandemic rather than online learning. Meanwhile, parents' perceptions of face-to-face learning are limited during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is seen from the education category (S1, SMA, SMP and SD) as well as from the economic category (economically capable, middle-income and low-income economies), namely face-to-face learning is limited to this time of the covid-19 pandemic is very good to apply.
