Abstract

ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF ISLAMIC WORK ETHIC ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PUSKESMAS OF SUNGAI MANDAU, SUNGAI MANDAU DISTRICT, SIAK REGENCY BY : DIAN MARDYANI 172310105 Work ethic is a human character and habit related to work and reflected from the faith or Islamic aqidah which is a basic life attitude towards it. The phenomena that occurs at Puskesmas (Public Health Center) of Sungai Mandau can be seen from the signs of missing Islamic work ethic among the employees to carry out their duties properly, which includes quality, punctuality of attendance and the ability to work together. The problem formulation of this study is whether Islamic work ethic has an influence on employee performance at Puskesmas of Sungai Mandau, Sungai Mandau District, Siak Regency. The aim of this study is to investigate the influence of Islamic work ethic on employee performance at Puskesmas of Sungai Mandau, Sungai Mandau District, Siak Regency. The subject of this study is all employees at Puskesmas of Sungai Mandau consisting of 54 people. While the object of this study is the influence of Islamic work ethic on employee performance. The data sources of this study consist of primary data and secondary data. The sample of this study consists of 54 people. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression analysis with the data calculation process performed by SPSS 22. The results of this study show that the respondents’ responses to the Islamic work ethic are included in the category of “agree”. And the results of data analysis using partial t-test show that the Islamic work ethic has a significant influence on employee performance at Puskesmas of Sungai Mandau with the value of t-count> t-table (4.981>1.674) and a significance value of 0.000. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the contribution of Islamic work ethic to employee performance is indicated by the R Square value of 30.2% and the remaining 69.8% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.
