Abstract

ABSTRACT Ali Imron (154110371) research with the title "The Effect of Tofu Dregs Compost and TSP Fertilizer on Growth and Production of Soybean Plants (Glycine max L.)". The research has been carried out at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No. 113 Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for three months starting from November 2019 to February 2020. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction of tofu waste compost and TSP on soybean growth and production. The design used in the study was a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 2 factors, where the first factor was Tofu Dregs Compost (K) which consisted of 4 levels K0: No Tofu Dregs Compost, K1: Tofu Dregs Compost 1.28 kg/ plot, K2: Tofu Dregs Compost 1.92 kg/plot, K3: Tofu Dregs Compost 2.56 kg/plot and the second factor is TSP Fertilizer (T) which consists of 4 levels, namely T0: No TSP Fertilizer, T1: TSP Fertilizer 6.4 g per plot, T2: TSP fertilizer 12.8 g per plot, T3: TSP fertilizer 19.2 g per plot and each treatment consisted of 3 replications, so there were 16 combinations, so 48 experimental units were obtained. Each plot consisted of 8 plants, and 6 plants as a sample, for a total of 384 plants. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded as follows: The interaction of giving tofu dregs compost and TSP fertilizer has a significant effect on flowering age, harvest age, number of root nodules, dry seed weight per plant and 100 dry seed weight. The best treatment was the dose of tofu compost 2.56 kg/plot and the TSP dose of 19.20 g/plot (K3T3). The main effect of tofu dregs compost was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was the dose of tofu dregs compost 2.56 Kg/plot (K3). The main effect of TSP fertilizer was significant on all observed parameters. The best treatment was the TSP dose of 19.20 g/plot (T3).
