Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the morphological character and content of essential oils and to see the relationship between Eucalyptus pellita plants. Observation of the morphological characters of Eucalyptus pellita followed the standard Descriptors for Eucalyptus spp issued by UVOP. The data is presented descriptively in tabular form and the data dendrogam is analyzed by the SAS method and continued with the BNJ further test at the 5% level. Seeing the relationship between Eucalyptus pellita plants using MVSP 32 and displayed in the form of a dendrogram using the UPGMA (Unweight Pair Group Methid With Arithmatic Mean) method on the NTSys-pc 2.1 software. The results of the research that has been carried out morphological characterization on the ten plants of Ecualyptus pellita observed based on qualitative and quantitative characters have similarities in almost all the observed parameters, except there are differences in the shape of the base of the leaves, namely straight (curneate) and oblique (oblique). The dendogram showed that there was a 98.73% kinship relationship to the 10 observed E. pellita plants. There is a difference of 1.27% is caused by environmental factors, because genetically these 10 plants are the same.
