Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect of interaction and main POC of tofu liquid waste and organic NPK fertilizer on the growth of shallot plants. This research has been carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution No. 113, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City. This research was carried out for 4 months starting from June to September 2021. This study used a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of two factors. The first factor is giving tofu liquid waste consisting of 4 levels, namely: 0, 20%, 40%, 60% and the second factor is organic NPK fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: 0, 48, 96, 144 g/plot. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, age of harvest, number of tubers in the clump, wet weight of tubers per clump, dry weight of tubers per clump, tuber shrinkage, tuber grade. The research data were analyzed statistically and continued with the further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. The results of the research that have been carried out concluded that the interaction effect of tofu liquid waste and organic NPK fertilizer did not affect all observation parameters. The main effect of tofu liquid waste has an effect on all observation parameters, with the best treatment being at a concentration of 60%. The main effect of organic NPK fertilizer was the relative growth rate (LPR), tuber wet weight per clump, tuber dry weight per clump and tuber weight loss, with the best treatment being 144 g/plot.
