Abstract

ABSTRACT A decline in production in a well is therefore carried out by management of an oil and gas field aimed at draining the hydrocarbon reserves contained there in as much as possible. Therefore, research is needed first about the character and behavior of the reservoir. This aims to determine the performance of the reservoir during the production process and to determine the best hydrocarbon drainage strategy in the field, so that an increase in hydrocarbon acquisition can be carried out in the field. In field X with a gas reservoir, optimization of the development of the gas field will be carried out by aligning the performance model with historical data on field production so that the model can be considered to represent the actual condition of the reservoir and taking into account the parameters of the physical properties of the reservoir rock. The next stage is to develop a field with reservoir simulation, which is a detailed Sector model method at fullfield, then the addition of new gas wells will be carried out with the acquisition of optimal production Cumulative results and for the optimization of gas reservoir production in the future with the best strategies and scenarios. The results of the production gas wells will be calculated economically by comparing the parameters of the Net Present Value (NPV), Internal rate of return (IRR) and Pay Out Time (POT) of the best scenario. The evaluation results show that the best scenario that is feasible and economical is scenario 5 with lateral well with multitarget. Economic evaluation scenario 5 where the investment cost is 24493711 MUSD, IRR value is 15%, NPV Contractor is 1375 MUS $ and POT is 7.3 years.
