Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the elemental elements of the song sik sik sibatumanikam ancient pontas arrangements. other than that it also aims to keep the artistry of agu sik sik babtumanikam maintained. The theory used is the theory of Karl Edmund Prier SJ (1996), and the theory of music that is the theory of Joseph Machlis (1984). The research method used is interactive qualitative research, which is research based on document analysis that will give a real picture of the form of song sik sik sibatumanikam ancient pontas arrangements. The approach used is a qualitative approach that is research carried out by approaching the object under study. while the data collection technique used is observation, documentation and interview techniques. The results of this study indicate that there are seven results: 1) the form of sik sik sibatumanikam 2) the form of harmony of sik sik sibatumanikam 3) the form of harmony of sik sik sibatumanikam 4) the rhythm pattern of sik sik sibatumanikam 5) timbre song sik sik sibatumanikam 6) the tempo of the sik sik sibatumanikam 7) the expression of cyclic sibatumanikam in ancient pontas arrangements.
