Abstract

ABSTRACT In an effort to create an optimal learning experience, several supporting aspects are needed, both from the teacher, teaching materials, the atmosphere of the teaching room, to the learning media used. Learning media is used as a tool to be able to establish more effective interactions between educators and students. The use of learning media that is still widely used today is by using 2-dimensional images, or 3-dimensional media which sometimes has its own problems, for example learning media about the volcanism process that requires mountain media and what happens or appears when the volcanism process occurs.One solution that can be used is to use Augmented reality (AR) technology which is able to bring up 3-dimensional objects in the form of virtual 3D which will look like seeing the original object. Based on the research results Visualization of the Volcanism Process Using Augmented Reality (AR), it can produce outputs in the form of interest and ease of understanding teaching materials with a maximum value of 550, a minimum value of 110, and percentage of 86.9% value, with intervals results in strong agreement, which allows a Visualization Of Vulcanism Process Using Augmented Reality (AR)’s application to be implemented as a learning medium.
