Abstract

Tenayan Raya District has an area of 171.27 km2 seen from the population growth of the Tenayan Raya District of 163,610 people and in the RPJMD of Tenayan Raya District as a Development Area (WP-IV) so that space is needed as a potential urban development area from the physical capabilities of the land, the suitability of the built land on the physical capability of the land, the capacity of the population's land, and the potential area for urban development The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and quantitative with a deductive approach. Data collection techniques in this study used primary data and secondary data. The analysis used is a superimpose / overlay analysis using Arc GIS version 10.3 with slope, geology, soil motion, hydrology and erosion susceptibility variables. The results of this study are 1) the physical ability of land in Tenayan Raya District obtained 5 classifications of Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D and Class E with the largest area in Class B covering 7,408 Ha. 2) The suitability of the built land to the physical capability of the land is divided into 4 orders, with a very appropriate Order (S1), quite Sufficient (S2), Marginal Adjustment (S3) and not appropriate (N). 3) the greatest capacity of land is found in Kelurahan Industri Tenayan 76,590 inhabitants. 4) the largest potential area is in the Tenayan Industrial Village with an area of 1,029 Ha or around 21%.
