Abstract

Protection for workers is very important, especially when facing risks that may occur such as work accidents. To protect the safety of the workforce, work safety and health efforts are carried out, these efforts are carried out with the social security program organized by BPJS, although the social security program has been designed since 1992, it turns out that there are still workers who are not registered in the BPJS program, one of which is at PT. Cory Sarana Medika. The problem raised in this paper is how the form of protection is given to workers who experience work accidents that have not been registered in the BPJS Employment program by PT. Cory Sarana Medika and what are the inhibiting factors for fulfilling obligations to workers who have work accidents that have not been registered. in the BPJS program by PT. Cory Sarana Medika? The research method used in this paper is an empirical juridical research method with a statutory approach and a fact approach. The results of this study are a form of protection given to workers who experience work accidents that have not been registered in the BPJS program, namely the existence of preventive protection efforts by providing clinics for treatment and repressive protection efforts, namely by providing medical compensation for workers who have work accidents that have not been registered. in BPJS Employment. Suggestions that can be given are that the PT should optimize efforts for occupational safety and health for workers and workers should be registered on the first day of work. The government must also strengthen sanctions for companies that have not registered workers in accordance with applicable regulations.
